Death Death

Contributed by outlawpoet on Thursday, 30th October 2008 @ 04:28:55 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I can hear the voice of one
Crying Crying
I can not place where it is that the tears fall from the face
And melt into the ground
I know not the reason why
But I hear the voice of one
Crying Crying
Maybe off in the distance someone is
Dying Dying
I can not see but only picture one knelt besides their lovers bed
With the angel of death awaiting the last dying breath
Awaiting the last closing of the eyes
And I can hear the voice of one
Crying Crying
I can not see the pain plastered on their faces
Nor do i see the teardrops fall
I can not see the grim uncomforting look on the angels face
As he awaits those who are
Dying Dying
I can only hear the voice of one
Crying Crying

You have every right to be excited. This is a good slow read.

Trying different forms of writing can be rough, but I think you did a good job with this. Very emotional.

Well done
Larry
