God's Blessing
The newborn boy,
takes his first breath;
it feels good to live,
escaping from death.
He shivers and shakes,
while being passed around;
testing his voice,
until Mother is found.
Mom is exhausted,
holding her prize.
She holds Baby tight,
and silently cries.
It's for this birth,
that we must rejoice.
God's message is clear:
Life;
what a beautiful choice.

I like the piece. But I stumble over the last lines.
If you could smooth it out a bit it would be better, an example;
It is for this life
that we must rejoice.
God's message is clear
what a beautiful choice.
But otherwise what a wonderful message!! |
