i don't want to see you cry or ever leave you sad
i just want to be your friend even when you make me mad
i don't want to see you hide so if your ever scared
know that you can come to me for you I'll always be there
i don't want to leave your side because you make me glad
happy just to see you smile thankful i can be your dad
i don't want to see you hurt so if your ever hit
it doesn't matter who daddy will take care of it
i wont ever leave your side I'll always be around
try and lift you to the sky any time your feeling down
i wont ever let you quit I'll encourage you
chase the things you want in life you can make your dreams come true
any time you need my help
you can ask me boo
cause all i really want to be
is a good father and a daddy to
