What I see...

Contributed by lilymaemax on Sunday, 26th October 2008 @ 06:01:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My love for you cannot be described
It would be an injustice to even try,
But I see the good in you when others criticise.
I see you trying to make a difference
I see the honourable man
Who would not deceive or cheat just because he can.
I see the look in our girls eyes
When you walk in the door
With a kiss and a cuddle and nothing more.
I see the look in their in eyes
When they tell their day to your appropriate sighs.
I see the pleasure you get from a good book
I feel the pleasure when I'm with you and catch your fleeting look
Seventeen years of devotion you have given to me
A feeling of such contentment and security.
So thank you my love and continue to be
All you have ever been.

Very beautiful and heartfelt....
To love and be loved so is such a treasure...
You've captured something very deep...
Love and gratitude are hard to describe and you've done it oh so very well....
Brilliant!
Steve
