He crushed me tonight

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

He crushed me tonight

He crushed me tonight
He took the last piece of me
Than, I felt was alright

I asked him, “be gentle, please”
I am not feeling good
Maybe he thought this was just all a tease

Because he didn’t even try
It was all about him
So this whole thing slipped me by

This kind of mental abuse
Slowly becomes physical
And makes me confused

I no longer know the difference between
Physical attraction and true love
Wish have become a routine

Now I feel so dirty
All I wanted was to be loved
But, maybe, I am unworthy.

Please please don't believe that you are unworthy. Anybody who takes pleasure in making you feel this way is unworthy but you are not. Be strong and believe that you deserve better. *hugs*

you are definitely not unworthy, we all make mistakes as we search for love, sometimes we want it so much we imagine its true when its not, you are not unworthy, you are one of us, a human with all its accompanying imperfections

Oh, oh, oh!!!! I have only just read this ... Let me say first of all - as this is your first time at rhyming ... you are definitely on the right track - perhaps because I relate to these feelings extremely well, I read it slow ... and SLOW is how this needs to be read - each verse has its own power - each verse expressing a different feeling. I can't explain how much this poem affected me personally ... I have these same misgivings in my lovelife and when I write poetry I tend to waffle on in my own way of dreamy words which tend to get too many words to cope with ... this poem is simple, short, but perfect in its expression of how you feel ... and it is great. Thank you so much.

By the way, don't feel dirty ... I too am tortured by thoughts of morals etc. but in the end, if you feel this way, you are the one on the higher plane, not he ....

regards, Jan

I understand now why one of my girlfriends
cried and said she was ashamed of herself.
Not that we actually made love but "all but".
