Dream do come true,
This I know for sure.
Because it did for me
When you walked through my door.
Despair was transformed into hope
A dream became a reality.
At the very sight of you,
I regained my vitality.
What we once shared
Was something deep and real.
The memory of that time
No one can ever steal.
Even though I made promises
That I seem to have broken
I could never give to you
That which you resquested as a token.
Stark naked,
I could never come to you.
Put one and one together
You should end up with two.
But shall we set sail, my dear.
Will you lead me to Paradise?
Will you, one day, share with me
What we once shared with our eyes?

if it were in my powers, your dreams would be reality. your days would always bring smiles...
as for the write, loved it. again, so sweet and elegant. it does possess that bittersweet note. but we also enjoy your hopefulness of dreams with you.

| beautiful stuff. you have combined glorious simplicity with a poetic 'punch'. nothing complicated, just a fluent rhyme and a powerful meaning. i can never seem to get both at the same time, how do you do it lol simply brilliant, what more can i say? |

I believe they really can as I've experienced it first hand. lol... I sometimes wonder if they were a warning of some type, but still the occurrences or visions in them definitely came to be.
This poem conveys that well...that feeling...that dream...the distant look across the realms...will it come to be???!!!
