Sitting, weeping inside this silver, golden candlelight
Fighting the pain and fighting for life
Anger washes the hurt away; it’s all gone,
As you ponder over the things you shouldn’t have done, it’s so numb.
The silver moonlight takes your tears and you’re lost inside the spell –
Lying there, at that moment, this magick is everything you’ve ever felt
-And they whisper-
How they would teach you to love them
And their darkened caress
How they can kiss the hurt away
With their barbed-wire grace
How they will make it better
With their beautiful embrace
As the window fades away again.
-Just step through-
Chained to this, chained to the kiss,
Choking back tears as you reminisce;
Remember their first ever kiss
That bliss…
Don’t ever tell me you never wanted this.
-Wake up-
Lying, crying inside these haunted eyes,
It’s all the same and nothing’s changed
Broken tears wash away the words I say
As you wonder why it happened this way, in this rain
The golden sunlight refuses your tears and you’re forced inside yourself –
Sitting here, as the window closes, this pain is everything you’ve ever felt.
-Scream-

lucie, just like everyone else has said, if you dont win the contest with this poem, the judges are friggin insane...this was amazing. It so unreal how honest and open you can be about everything going on in your head. The best part is you're sharing these beautiful images with each and every one of us. Thats an honor dear friend. keep it up. :O)
