Narrow Bridges

So fitting isn't it, these narrow bridges?
Making one hold their breath, not looking to close at the edge.
Edges ruthless, steel and stone, old and worn
river below, it is truly treacherous.

Such is life with those narrow bridges.
One wrong move, no turning back.
Be wary of weaving webs, you may get caught
in the game you play, dangle from translucent fine threads.

There is no room for a turn of the wheel.
No easy going if you go down through steel.
No turning back, hold on for the ride.
Be sure the power is full throttle , running wild over drive.

Messages in between those fine yellow lines.
Black ribbons are lonely and can bite like October mornings.
Words wont do it justice, one never knows...
Caught on narrow bridges, where do we go?

Do you know?? Doesn't seem like it!

Michelle, my dear friend, what a METAPHOR you have weaved here. I am almost at a loss for words. The narrow
bridges of our lives can be maneuvered if we are careful and keep an eye on all sides. You are right, there IS no
turning back, but the only thing we need worry about is that no one sets the bridge on fire once we begin to cross
you know? Burned bridges are worse than narrow ones, methinks. I love the message you braved in this. I especially
liked the spider web reference. It strikes the heart with magnificent force! Truly one of your writes I shall favour for
future reads. :)

You are a woman of immense passion. One of the things I SO love about you!! :D

here for you.. always ~

~ Breezy
*hugging you tight*

My gosh Shel, I hope that all is good and well
with you my friend. We love you and we are
here for you. Extra prayers for you hunnie.
May guardian angels always watch over you.

dreamer
