No Blood on the floor

Topic: AngryPoetry

I sit listening to the night its drum a slow throttle the stars a wide piercing
Holding thoughts of worn highways, angry looks and desperate times gone wild
Watching humanity stumble and rust we have galloped and gone to the haze
Fast living, fast cars slow mentality and a sense of forgotten time frames

What can we do as the powers that be have no idea what humility is like
All pampered scholarships and trust accounts no touch of reality
Our hero’s stoned while only acting like good people from the outside
People and places so phony to touch and feel all sewn smiles and stapled faces

So we are all looking for answers with no good questions to ask
The beast inside us is starving while walking on all fours
Lost sense of instinct and the ability to sense danger and a enemy from only smell
The blank stares in shopping malls just a sign of the times
Sheep we were dead we are

Global crimes and money bags all rolled under old carpets
Feelings of just circling a constant déjà vu
We throw away while screaming go green
Did we not try this once before and all we got was more trash in a trashed world

I wonder how many lies were hidden what really happened on such a lovely day
How many starved from inadequate care or expansive medicines
Killing the old and the youth pills before health pushed out before cure
To much time to care about the weak only cash and donations
Please no blood on the floor

But again nothing changes
They control we swallow
Heads down
Cold and conformed
A screen in every home
Teaching us the law

funny the way we pretend it's getting better, just to get to sleep at night. in doing so, we create the problems just as much. i've come to realize recently how much we all stay so brainwashed. i've been viewing this world with rose lenses in the wrong ways. sometimes it is good to. so that we still have enough of that childlike wonder to dream. but we must not allow them to cloud our truths from us. this write from you expresses all this in a way i've been unable to. thank you.
love smiles blessings
