I feel your warm gaze reach my heart
You smile sweetly and wipe my tears
Refusing to leave my side
Until I smile with you
I almost want to keep crying
Just so you'll stay
But I cannot be that selfish
For in my heart I know you'll return.
I feel my warm gaze reach your soul
Smiling peacefully in spite of my tears
Refusing to leave your side
Until I am convinced
That my love shines twice as bright
Just so you'll see
That I am not selfish
But in my heart you'll always be.

| It is the tender moments we share that last throughout our lives and nothing so tender reaches our soul as one who cares for us when we are weak and in pain. This is true love poem and I'm glad you shared it.... |

| "I feel my warm gage reach your soul smiling peacefully inspite of my tears" -- good line. for this poem no intro is necessary . you might have revealed who the hero to conclude the poem. and its effect will be more poetical. venkat |

| kara isn't it unique how you can write when you don't have that love you want... a writer's work is suppose to show their deepest desires... and about the comment you made how the person is in your head... you're not the only one... a song that you might enjoy that shares this thought is 'lovesong for no one' by john mayer he is truly a great songwriter |
