Man cannot know God, but by God's revelation.
We can only imagine him by pre-supposition.
This path will find us in endless speculation;
Leading into myriad futile superstitions.
Search brother, see if God has condecended;
To a degree which can be comprehended.
With an ancient text, not to be amended,
In revelation for those to whom intended.
"In the beginning God", the text does declare;
Then, "life from life" forever has been there.
More reasonable seems this four-square,
Than life from none: no seed, but yet, a pear?
Here we see a fine tuned world; intricate.
Formed without a designing participant?
Should we trust our proud recent speculate,
Or, proven wisdom given to the ancient?

Matt.11:27 (Christ) " All things are delivered unto me
of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father;
neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son and
he to whom-so-ever the Son will reveal him."
John 6:44&65, Rev.1:1, Isa. Ch.53, Psa. Ch.22.

Thought provoking read.I really believe God wants us to have a relationship with Him.James4vs8 tells us that and Psalms83vs18 tells us he has a name and he wishes us to use it.Well written |

Well written, but unfortunately I see a problem in this.
The idea of the creator, who created the seed, which in turn spawned the pear, and was not in turn created before the seed, and an everlasting system of reality itself, which would not be creating anything, but becoming that of which we see as created, are not mutually exclusive. Maybe one is mistaken for the other, maybe both are simultaneously true, or maybe neither is true. I myself don't believe in a higher power, but do not disbelieve in one. I see it no less likely than the lack of one, however I cannot, and will not be swayed into thinking so(either way) because unfortunately as much as people try to convince me, I can't feel either being true. |

Not too shabby! Rhyme scheme/content gets tricky when you do one rhyme per stanza...I think you made a solid effort here. Another goodie!
