The Woman’s point of view:
They tell us we’ve no right to speak
They tell us we’re too slow and weak
We have no rights
Our Future’s bleak
We’re doomed to live controlled and meek.
In the home and nothing more
We work all day until we’re sore
Our backs are aching
And what for?
Saying naught, we scrub the floor.
No job, no strife
Condemned for life
That’s what it takes to be a wife.

The Man’s point of view:
They act as if we’re dooming them
They act as if their lives are done
They keep on working
Saying none
But we can tell they think they’re shunned.
A woman’s place is in the house
To cook and clean-as for her spouse
He works until the day is done
We do not grouse
We keep as silent as a mouse.
No work, no pay
We plow away
Earning supper for the day.

funny, women's rights movement happened so long ago. why is this still accurate? men can handle working women. but i really run into so many that just can not handle my independence. thank you for sharing
