Your Newfound Happiness

Contributed by ell_03 on Monday, 13th October 2008 @ 09:23:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Your looks tell me you need me
And your words imply that you want me
Your movements let me know youd do anything to have me
And my mind tells me that your thinking of me.

So why are you with her!?

Have you forgotten everything that we had
Do you remember nothing of the past
Why will you not aknowledge the feelings you had
Just the night before last

You took me in your arms and said these words to me:

I will love you until the last star burns out
Ive loved you since we were first together
I love you more than all the precious things
I will love you always and forever

You opened my eyes and showed me
All the things that we could be
And then you shut my mouth
With the most beautiful lips Ive ever seen

But then you deserted me
Leaving my heart empty and desolate
And leaving me wishing
That we had never met

Whoever said the words
"It is better to have loved and lost
than never to have loved at all."
Never loved you

I don't know how to fill
The emptiness you left within my heart
It seems as though it would be easier
To tear this blackened soul apart

There is no way out from this place
Im here because of my own stupidness
So while I sit here in my own tears
I wish you success with your newfound happiness

Ah, the pain of love lost...
I've lived there for about two years now and you take it day by day....
I can tell you this, you don't need someone to make you happy. Happiness comes from within. Look for it and you will find it. Look to someone else to find it and you will be looking forever.
Very good and heartfelt write..
I would cut it back a little to make it shorter, but condense the feeling... I've found that you can actually say more with less..(my only critique)
Keep it up!
And keep your chin up....
Steve

very deep agony, but at the same time u could be suffering for the wrong/unworthy reason. it's difficult to move on esp. thru wat ur going thru. but i like how u wish the person to be happy in the end, now that's something special...

"It is better to have loved and lost
than never to have loved at all." - i tend to disagree with this actually, becuz the pain can be too much (from my experience)

hope all goes well for u. take care
