Sealed With a Kiss

Suspended on an ebony backdrop,
A large heavenly luminescent pearl.
Its cool radiance reflects on warm skin.

Soft shadowed dunes slumber behind us,
To a background rhythm of water and sand.
Quietly we lie free from the burden of clothes.

My eyes trace the curves, of your beach coated flesh,
Breathing... breathing in night fragrances,
As I replay our past moments of melting embrace.

We are sculptures, born of earth,
Misted by salt, our souls released,
And sealed with a kiss.
