Retribution for all
Vengeance gains momentum
Adrenaline pipes its own unique serum
Connections simmer rapidly for freedom
Thoughts exhibit lucidity in a vacuumed delirium
in the case of a broken heart
with all-due-respect
with nothing but good intent
hollow motives fill gaps of neglect
a safe passage, issued, through the echoed halls of human contempt
misspoken, misperceived, in transit were restless sentences contributing to the eventual descent
the climb, although steep, happiness crept
out of line, one-hundred-percent
a fence, painted red, guards the entrance to the erect tent
the shelter, protected, are our silk bodies from the tainted wet
sent, a package of pictures was lent, destroyed, upset
themes from the floor-up rendered irrelevant
a phenomenon exclusive to this side of retrospect
i watched as she slept
Peacefully….
in my bed

jyss, there is an entanglement of emotion in this. Jilted lover seeks revenge
on the willing? hmmmm .. damn fine writing. You caught me. I was driven to
an emotional frenzy with this. Your momentum just kept escalating and I was
taken along for the ride, until that bittersweet ending came crashing down.
I hate that. A collision with reality. It sucks.
Again, DAMN fine poetry. You do this so well.
