Leaves fall upon my window,
Colors shade your figure so,
Away you start to wonder,
Sad do I begin to grow.
Out among the cold winds,
Through the barren trees,
I walk along the sidewalk,
Enjoying the finest breeze.
Closer come I near you,
Away do you seem to fall,
Yet can I ever feel you,
Letter nor touch at all.
Your door a gateway to me,
Out of the cold I stray,
In my arms cling to thee,
Warm forever stay.
