Consider perception not as a view,
but a door
and when you open it,
there's a rummage sale
on the other side.
Countless items are being sold—
from stunning realizations
to hideous infestations
of ego. Some things
come connected while
others disjointed.
The man made whole
of body and mind
will know what to buy
on the first try. The
man made half will
be hesitant;
lenient with his funds
and might go with the wrong.
Although the half-man
might grow older from his choices,
he is not wrong.
Although the whole-man
might become one with the world,
he is not right.
Both paths to purchasing
are just as equal
as the men who follow them.

A very interesting 'perspective' opening 'doors' for people that don't think about anything else besides what occupies them at that moment. And a nice analogy with the whole sale and purchase (of the soul); very appropriate considering the monstrous consumerism that surrounds us. May the doors to liberation open wide! |
