Love like rain, falling for you
Kisses like stars, burning anew
Smiles like comets, soaring out of the blue
Hope like heaven, that this might be true
Touch like flames of summer dusk
skin like autumn roses blush
passion like the storms that rush
from heights of heaven over us
love as strong as the waterfall
that cuts a path through mountains tall
to hear the sound of the ocean’s call
and merge into the sea in thrall
a vast horizon clear and blue
a flood of stars in brilliant hue
a hope for love that's born anew
breathless kiss , let this be true

Oh, doug this is absolutely breath taking! You and true write so
well together! I love the title and wow! The words that lie beneath
give it extreme credence. I got lost in the emotion and sentiment
swimming so effortlessly through your words. Damn fine poetry, friends.
