Sweet breath of fall came out today.
Beckoning the world to play with falls array.
Fields golden and covered with dew,
tree's fit for dancing in colors bright and true.
One becomes breathless with falls show.
Splendor and wonder only mother nature knows.
How long will it last these colors so vast?
Strewn along rolling hillsides in deep golden cast.
Today is a good day, the chill in the air.
A few pictures captured with loved ones to share.
A gift for the taking that is always free.
A wonderful fall gown for all the world to see.

ah u describe nature's very essence lovely here (i need to learn how to do that haha). i like this line esp. "A gift for the taking that is always free." and we often take nature for granted. thanx for writing. nice pics too! take care

The landscape in autumn takes on such a magnificent hue, does it not?

I was captured by the opening line and continued to be entranced with each new one.
You have captured the essence of Autumn (sorry but Im British lol) perfectly.
Great stuff
PS.Turn the first letters of each word around and you have a whole new poem......Nozy Cooks !!
