Character Assassin

A twitched eye
at your back side.

Sometimes family or just friends.
Many times they're like bookends.
Sweeten words to open your ears.
The quick killing doesn't take years.
Reasons why your character must die.
Jealousy, revenge and associates at your side.

Snipers ranging at a snap.
Caution! It may be the person on your lap.

No protection, relaxation, or justification
staying weary of the character assassination.
