When I'm Alone...

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I don't like being alone
I don't like being alone
It's these times when I feel the worst
It's these moments that I'm all alone with no one to talk to
That I feel so ashamed of everything I've done
Everything I do, every mistake

I feel so lonely and afraid
Lost in a foggy nightmare
Where I'm stuck
Strapped down and tortured just to amuse the onlookers
These seconds go by like hours
But inside my head these seconds tick like days

When I'm alone and have time to think
I'm aloud to blame myself for everything
When I've got no one
My world crashes down on top of me
It takes everything inside of me
Absolutely everything
To keep myself from my vivid fantasies
Fantasies of horror

Sometimes when I get so lost in myself
So lost in my thoughts, my cries
I reach out with a limp hand, hoping someone cares
I don't always get a reaction

Those times when there's no one willing
And I'm just not strong enough
I decide to find a source to unleash the feelings
I decide to excuse myself from my self caused pain
Pain I carry from other people
Pain left over from recent times
I decide to make a new friend
Get reacquainted to an old friend
A friend that loves to watch me bleed
Loves to make me bleed

I don't like to be alone
The times when I'm alone are the worst
No ones there
Silent, except for the hum that's blocked from my mind
I don't like to be alone
