I'm So Sick of Settling

I'm so sick of settling,
where's my smile; you tell me.
Can you hear me screaming,
through the pulse in my hand.

I want it to defeat me,
but I'm too strong; I can't be weak.
And still you don't hear me,
well, I have nothing left to say.

My mind has too much space to think,
but the emptiness has quite a ring,
when it whirls in with the wind.
and I'm headed for a crash.

So keep dreaming like you do,
maybe one day they'll come true.
Or maybe one day.......you'll open your eyes.

And see its not worth having hope,
when you are nothing but a joke.
But maybe one day.......you'll open your eyes.

So much emotion in this peice. I can relate to what you mean. Some people just never seem to notice the person in front of them. You deserve better, I agree with Wiz. You deserve to find what makes you feel free.

i really liked this poem good write
