The lush moonlight falls over this barren land
makes me think of the times I held you in my hand.
The way the wind flows through the air, I breathe in
Thinking of roses and lilies as the night seems so fair, oh where to begin?
Streams of heaven that shine in the sky, falling on me
Dawn comes as, heart awake as the light makes us see.
Autumn falls, crimson skies as the trees shed thier leaves
Then winter comes by, and I cry when I see you leave.
Spring is born, as flowers bloom and the sun comes, we arise
Makes me reminisce the first time I looked into your eyes.
Violet lilies and crimson roses cover this meadow, a beautiful sight
Dusk comes, the day then parts, when you wish me good night.
The times of the year, opposites yet at times the same, so true.
Now it seems so clear, The one who set my heart aflame, that why I love you.

A very vivid picture of the beauty of the seasons.
The last line seems to have a grammar issue, or am I reading it wrong?
Again, love the images. |

You captured the seasons and your love well. Wonderful imagery and word choice. The opening stanza is magnificent, not to take away from the rest but it really grabbed me. Beautifully done!
BRAVO!
