MY ETERNAL DARKNESS
Some say its always darkest just before the dawn
to Never give up just keep fighting on
through the constant battle, with the darkness deep within
Sometimes we can fight it off, sometimes we can't win
When the Darkness comes to take me, I'm a slave to its desire
It controls my every action, like a cryptic fire
Feeding on my pain and hatred, feeding on my sin
whispering it's ideas, beckoning me in
demons are among us, so There must be angels too
why can I not hear them, what are they here to do?
through Tear filled eyes, I watch my world slipping by
Through wasted tries, I see my life flash before my eyes
With rage in my heart, for the sins that I have done
The monster inside seems to have already won....
seems to have already won
(break)
I have heard, the grass is greener on the other side
But where is this place, and why is it so hard to find
Where is my escape, a solace for my tormented mind
I must find a way to imprission the darkness inside
The constant rage of the darkness deep within
showing me visions of how it could be with him
I close my eyes and the pictures flood my mind
Watching inside, destructive acts through my own eyes!!!!!
(break)
God hear my plea, I'm not the monster I fear to be
Please rescue me, before the dark consumes me
Through tear filled eyes, I pray for one more try
through folded hands, I look up towards the sky
With my open heart, I pledge my heart to god
So... Please!!!! give me one more try!!!!
god please, give me one more try...
some may say its always darkest before the dawn
And I agree, because the torment has long been gone...
