A Sisterhood of Traditions

Contributed by karoody on Thursday, 2nd October 2008 @ 04:45:34 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

Traditionally, you are not my sister
If you decide to follow tradition
The mother that bore us
With these likenesses
Had nothing to do with genetics
There is no biology in the story
But traditionally we both know
I tell tradition
Exactly where to go
I met your human form
Not too long ago
But it felt as if
I had known you all along
Our hands have never physically touched
Perhaps the fates will never allow it
It is not necessary really
Nice as it would be
To hug you, sister of mine
And tell you how blessed I am
To ignite the flames within
Next to a sister like this

This part is soooo you:

Had nothing to do with genetics
There is no biology in the story
But traditionally we both know
I tell tradition
Exactly where to go

I can hear you saying that so clearly.

This is a very beautiful write. *applauds*

And I cannot agree with Steve more. I would add that if there were more people like you in this world it would be a much better place.....much much better.

Loves ya

Tim
