Lightning strikes as time goes by
Dark clouds fill the frightened sky
Toughts of fleeting feelings forever mine
Such dark shadows fall upon thin lines
I spy upon thee with brocken eyes
A smile from you lips tells all and lies
When undue gratitude falls upon your face
Does it hurt to take your own place
If you die today who will you replace?

very bold! Especially that last line! I love that! I've read this a few times and i keep getting different emotions and ideas. it's very provoking for so few words for me. this is cool. |
