by now i know your time has come
its why my heart feels so numb
you say that you'll get by
but in the end i know you'll die
the monster has come for you
and no one else has a clue

since i've seen you smile

so now your life has come to its end
some hearts just wont ever mend
a sickly smile on your face
soon you'll be leaving this place
and you wont be coming back
just a memory in the black

Wow, I'd like to hear the score that goes with this for the full effect. I enjoyed the lyrics very much. I think what I appreciated the most about it is the fact that I could think of so many ways to interpret this. That makes it apllicable to many different circumstances and hearts. This is important with these dark songs in my opinion.
