You and I, we’re quite the pair
as we sit in anxious anticipation.
We barely live here, but plan to go there
to try to better our situation.
A couple of rolling stones we are,
I wouldn’t have it another way.
Always ready to jump in the car
and live for tomorrow, today.
Rolling stones, they gather no moss,
at least that’s what they say-
so with you I’ll go at any cost
and let our desires pave the way.
It doesn’t matter where we go
as long as we go soon.
I’m ready to move on with the show
and will drive to greet the moon.
So pack your things, come on,
let’s find our destined home-
it doesn’t matter how often it changes,
you can’t stop a rolling stone.

A happy go lucky way no ties to anything.
Woohoo, that's awesome. Now that wouldn't
work for someone like me who has excess
luggage to carry around, lol.
The rhythm and flow are superb. A most enjoyable
read. Thanks for sharing it.
