Unimaginable pain,
Like none I have ever felt...
You rolled the dice,
And this hand was dealt...
How could you do it,
My heart ever so silently breaking...
Nothing but cold and hurtful words fly,
As my body is shaking...
For this you can''t explain,
Though you tried to lie...
You couldn''t even admit,
What stated in black and white...
Though you cowardly tried to sway,
pointing out each of my wrongs...
Treatening me with the end,
As you backed all that you belong...
I listened to the message,
The one on the phone...
You left me your card she said,
Covered in your cologne...
You can lie all you want,
Excuses are no good now...
Don''t you dare ask me,
To give you the benefit of the doubt...
This time I won''t break,
I will not falter..
I can not be persuaded...
