Intoxicating cacophony
formed by your very own intellect
knocks my senses off of their axis
and disallows me to interject
into my own humbled mind.
All I can do is observe
the soul that reverberates,
your expressionistic verve.
Your complete and utter control
of the depths and highs of my being
took my (lack of) thoughts by surprise
and I surrendered to your seize.
I stood below that stage
and listened quite in awe,
watched your genius unfold,
was taken by what I saw.
I can only merely describe
the mist of notes that captured my mind
and mingled with the chills
you sent flooding down my spine.
