Strings of Heaven—
Arizona, I am lonely, for the days pass quickly now, and the weeks crawl to a close, and I am oft to look back at years long past, and I am oft to look to you, to your kingly mountains, to your divided grace.
You are as beautiful absent as the stars that stray above you and hide from you in the intensity of your day, you are beautiful, and my eyes become your mountains towering in the glory of a rainy day.
Arizona, my love for you is unadorned sky shivering at the shades of its inevitable end, heightened and alive by the hues of your fever.
You are beautiful, and my words cannot conceive you, trepid and remorseful as they are.
