Yin-Yang

A bad person
With a sadistic grin
Drugs in one hand, a knife in the other
You're evil, there's no doubt
But yet I never walk away from you
I'm a good person
Never giving into temptation
Heart in one hands, a book in the other
I'm pure, there's no doubt
But yet I sit alone and watch the darkness
You dress in blues and whites and look so innocent
I dress in blacks and reds and rarely smile
Leather collars and guitar pick earrings
We're both lies of eachother
Putting off an air of difference
You live to hurt, I live to heal
Everything about us is contrast
You are blonde and I dye my hair black
You are popular and I'm alone
How is it you're so evil, I'm so pure
And yet you're the one everyone loves?
You're racist you're sexist you're a jerk
And you're my balance
I'm kind, I try to comfort the broken, the lost
You're rude, you kick them when they're down
I just don't understand how we exist like this
We're complete opposites
Dark and light
Night and day
Angel and Demon
Yet I cannot walk away from you
I cannot live without you here
Truly you're my other half
The hateful, spiteful words we fling back
Are comforting to eachother
The kicks under the table that could snap a shin
They don't hurt us
You could stab me in the heart
I could slap you in the face
And it'd be so normal
Without you here it'd just be wrong
It wouldn't feel normal, wouldn't be right
You're my greatest enemy
And my strongest love
