Falling.
Frantically, I wonder where I am.
In sand.
Gotta go.
Need to get out.
I see nothing.
Endless abyss.
Others like me try to escape.
We can’t climb our way out.
At least it isn’t crowded anymore.
Then I sense it.
Not like me.
Big, scaly.
Blue, hazy purple,
Orange, white.
Spotted. It licks its eye.
It hunches down,
I try to hop away.
