You stood me up
You are dating someone else
Yet asking me out
I believed you
I waited for you
I ignored the signs
Yet I sit in anguish
You hurt me
You left me
You moved away
Yet you never said goodbye
I cried for you
I hoped you'd change your mind
I wished you'd stay
Yet you still traveled away
You messaged me
You lied to me some more
You told me it was better there
Yet I cannot bring myself to be angry
I should have hated you
I should have been so mad
I should have yelled at you
Yet I still love you
You are gone now
You are far, far away
You are never online anymore
Yet I do not cry
I wish you'd come back to me
I wish I could have made you stay
I wish you would have understood
Yet all I want to say is
I miss you
