Desolate

Contributed by navydocny on Monday, 22nd September 2008 @ 10:58:07 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The desolation of her beauty, is only in her eyes
Stark is always her allure, and such is her disguise
If she could see in herself, what I have always seen
Splendor of the greatest kind, the type that needs no preen
No matter what she always thinks, I always think the same
There is not and quite as such, her love I shall reclaim
So many words we’ve yet not spoke, so many feelings strong
What I hope is that she’ll say, I’ve loved you all along
I know the face behind the mask, the sturdy balustrade
Feelings that we want to have, no crueler a charade
Though she may attempt to hide, such wondrous affection
One day when she’ll pine for love, she’ll look in my direction……

Steve, my thoughts are with you in the coming week, (and am TOTALLY
excited for you!) This is intensely beautiful. It is so full. So full of well .. just
everything! (if that makes sense). Your emotion is clear and your faith and
trust in love is unrelenting. I think that's what makes this so damn beautiful.

Thinking about you with the best of wishes ~

~ Breezy
