The mouth slurs, eyes wince--
Scouring out synecdoche
To mince
The scope of the human body.
I teetotal
Because many an egregious tale
Has rolled off your tongue, anecdotal
When drunk.
A stained red carpet
Supporting a thin-legged theory,
I have heard this tongue deign
Among scoundrels and clowns, eyes bleary
With drunken rage,
When the fresh,
Politic sage
Is disposed of in the trash,
And I plunged myself
Into that sage’s retrieval,
But he was a glut, his full gut
Capitulated to evil...
The streams-of-bigot-
Consciousness
Like a rank spigot
Channeling crimes...
And even the neatest archive
In my head
Bears you an endive
Stench you never had.

It takes a couple reads for the brain to absorb what is going on, but you want to read it and absorb it. It's great, I really like it. |
