I never asked you to tell me how to do things
and I never alluded to wanting your help
or your self-righteous opinion for that matter.
If I choose to do it my way
It’s called “my way” for a reason.
You see my flaws, my flaws as you deem them
but when I look in the mirror I see strength in my mayhem.
Your heart is a heart with nothing to give
it is your head that insists on a more elaborate motive
Now your pride, your solemn guide
will lead you to loneliness and places abroad
I am tired of fighting
when all I wanted to do was take care of you
Property is what you have labeled me
Far from the truth you are about to see
It is time to wake up from your delusional dream
to face the reality of your actions
Now your pride, your solemn guide
will lead you to loneliness and places abroad
I am tired of fighting
when all I wanted to do was take care of you
