It's Funny...

It started almost a year ago now.
It’s funny how I can still remember why and how.
It’s funny how I can forget names, but not your face.
It’s funny how I tried to get out of this place.
It’s funny how one person can literally tear you apart,
Beginning with your heart.
It’s funny how you can hold the whole world in your arms one day,
And then, a short time later, watch it walk away.
It’s funny how a boy can kill you inside
And make you want to commit suicide,
Yet never seem to know.
It’s funny how many lies they can tell you also.
But what really gets me,
Is how I’ve never laughed about these things if they're all so funny.

Very good and yes the duplicity of the term "funny"..
Some funny things aren't so "funny", especially when dealing with matters of the heart...
Good job!
