Smiling is now just a trend.
You’ll do it, even when you want your life to end.
No matter how much you hurt, or how much you cry,
You’ll still just smile and tell everyone a big, fat lie.

Don’t matter how much pain you’re in,
Or if your will to live is wearing thin;
Smile because it’s in style.
Let everyone think you’re okay
Because they all believe what you say.

How can they all be so stupid, so naïve?
When you die, will any of them grieve?
Will they ever think something was wrong?
Or will they all just sing-a-long?

Smile because it’s in style.
Laugh on their behalf.
Don’t let them know you want to die;
Stay home in your room and cry.
Just smile because it’s something that will never go out of style.

nice one...a smile is sometimes a facade, like when someone asks me, "how are you doing today?" i say, "Im doing just fine" when im actually not. pretty sure people do that all the time. i only smile just to be 'polite' but we just cant frown all the time, right? most days are sad, but cherish those few that arent. take care
