Lament for Landan

Contributed by alisteal_rayne on Thursday, 18th September 2008 @ 05:40:29 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Spongebob sheets left made
Your room is eerily quiet
Your toys are left untouched
Everything is where it was laid

Clothes packed up away
Never to be worn again
Your treasures all locked up
And people walk past them every day

Memories of tears
And laughter and love
Memories of pain and longing
Memories that should still be here

The house is very still
Since you’ve been gone
I can’t say I much like it
The silence my heart kills

I don’t know why you went
But I miss you every hour
And I’ll see you again someday
When I’m heaven Sent

My sympathy..
Excellent ode...
Nothing is greater than the loss of a child....
Take care,
Steve

This is so heartbreaking...I am sorry for your loss... Believe me, I know the feeling...
Just remember, he's pain free and happy in his home above...
Hugs
Jenni

You never showed this to me the other day! I had to go hunt it down.

It's so so sad, but very well written. It's a great tribute to him!
