Ruin

Contributed by Amicus on Wednesday, 17th September 2008 @ 06:47:53 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The clouds slowly change
From their beautiful purity
But i am just another obscurity
Waiting for the clouds to rearrange

Doubt lines my disappointed face
As I stare into the sky where no one looks down
I look at the ground where everyone looks up
They stare blankly filled with disgrace

I AM RUINED

Acidic tears that burn through desire
Tears that taint my will and mind
Tears that would make a man go blind
Cry until faith I can acquire

Who'll give me this impossible will
With no more sky above
And forever without love
No one can stop this pain until

Someone will fight back against opposition
Someone will put pain into submission
Someone to fight against our apparitions
Someone to fight my painful deposition

From birth I was placed ready to be judged
From birth I was nothing more than a smudge
Ready to be wiped away, and thrown with the defects
With the lowest standards that one would expect

Nothing more than what you'd anticipate
Everyone thought I'd slowly dissipate
From body and mind but they were mistaken
Thinking that I was born forsaken

I AM RUINED

*whisper*
I am ruined
