Family fights,,children rebel,,
parents punish,they just don't care,,
tears filled eye's, cry themselfs asleep,,
hoping mommy and daddy will be alright,,
little ones say, why mommy why,,
she says,,I'll do as i please,,
just dont care for these little ones,,
one beer is all she wants,,
mom and dad stay out all night,,
drinking and danceing, forgot the time of day,,
coming home, looking at their children,,
asleep is what they see, goodnite my little ones,,
mom and dad suprised to see,,
children still asleep, in the early morning sunrise,,
mom and dad shower and shave,,
children still asleep, they wonder why,,
mom yells for them,,
no noise at all,,
mom and dad goes to the room,,
seen the children asleep,,
mom and dad say's,,
there all right,,late nite for them ,,
they'll be alright,,
another beer in their hand, thats all they need,,
wondering why their not down yet,,
they go to the children's room,,
trying to wake them up, hoping for smiles,,
but find something else,,the blood of a murderer,,
mom and dad cry for these little ones,,
police place them in jail,,
crying and confussed, is what they were,,
their child's death,,for a lousy beer,,
children buried,,
parents in jail,,
a lifetime of pain,,
for a lousy beer,,
children come first,,
NO matter what,,
Love them,,cherish them,,
there's no excuse,,
for a lousy can of beer,,
