COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
ACROSS GREEN GRASS WET WITH DEW
BENEATH THIS MIDNIGHT CANOPY,
STARS SHINING UPON JUST ME AND YOU.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
AS MUSIC DRIFTS FROM OUR SOUL
YOUR EYES BRIGHT AS DIAMONDS,
AND YOUR SOFT BODY IS MINE TO HOLD.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
DOWN BY THE LAKE WITH WATER DARK BLUE
WHILE LIGHT OF THE SKY CAPTURES OUR SHADOWS,
WITH ME DANCING SO CLOSE TO YOU.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
THE FRAGRANT NIGHTS GENTLE BREEZE
CARESSING US AS OUR SWEET LOVE FLOWS,
I SENSE YOUR YEARNING SO TO PLEASE.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
THE MORNING SKY WILL BE HERE SOON
WE CAN SOAR ABOVE THE GROUND,
BENEATH THAT FULL LOVERS MOON.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME.
PURPLE BLOSSOMS LIKE ORCHIDS SO FINE
AS WE MAKE LOVE UNDER THAT OLD OAK TREE,
COVERED GRACEFULLY WITH WISTERIA VINE.
COME MY LOVE, DANCE WITH ME
AS ALL LOVERS DO, CLOSLY.
2002
