Forbidden Love

Contributed by alibof10 on Sunday, 14th September 2008 @ 02:29:47 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

A love that’s so true
A love that’s not new
A love that’s never forgotten
A love that’s forbidden …

“I love her!” He say
But all he gets is a “No way!”
No one agrees
They take him to his knees

“I love him!” She say
They reply “Just go away.”
No one agrees
They set all the boundaries

Against this love they all go
But what they don’t know
The love continues to grow
Someday it will glow

They keep them apart
Take the girl and depart
Give the guy a new start
Let him live and be smart

They let them bleed
Not caring what they need
Erasing their love was their goal
But their love was whole

True love never dies
In the night they feel each other’s cries
They know they are still together
As they promised, "Always and forever!"

Time passes and she escapes
And hears about the disastrous fate
Her love died several years ago
“I love you” was his last bellow

She slowly recovers from the blow
Begins living her life of sorrow
Blaming her family for taking her
Cursing life for taking away her closure

Filled with agony she lives
Till one day she gives
Finishing her last chapter
Stopping her life’s counter

She wakes up alone in the dark
Fearing every spark
Running from every sound
Falling towards the ground

He catches her as she falls
And in his arms she cries
Not believing they are finally together
Together always and forever

wow, what an forceful ending! I really feel for the fateful loves.
How horrid. I could not live if I were separated from the one I love.
It would be like trying to live without air. Great job at expressing
the pain and the serious ache one feels when family and friends try
to come between two people who were meant to be together.

Excellent post!

This is so true that true love will never die, nothing can take it away, this is a very powerful piece of writing, thank you so much for sharing it.
With love and light Starchild
