Ride em truckers

Oh my oh my, watch things fly
falling down watch out below.
Hit a pothole in the road, no weren't going slow.

Oh my oh my butt off the seat,
hold on for all your might.
Grab hold of the cb mic
its on a bucking tossing fight.

Av flew off the bed, Leshay smacked her head.
Nobody is safe for Heavens sake
got a hole to china right in the way!
Woawwwwwww damn watch out for that one....

*shakes head*

Safely parked....... now it starts,
drivers catching gears......
cover your eyes cause he gonna fly
whammmmmmm oh yes he did!

On and on it goes, big holes bigger holes......
Are we in a big red Pete or in the saddle of a horsey seat?
CB chatter where did that damn hole come from?
I think I broke a big truck lug nut.... or two or three......

Ride em truckers and keep your butts in the seat!

Yea right not in these truck stop parking lots!!!!!!

Michelle,

I have unfortunately been here before. Truck rides are somewhat bumpy and can be miserable but the sights you can see make the ride worth while. My grandfather was a truck driver and as a child I used to love sitting in his truck. And though he was my grandfather, there was nothing exceptional about what he was doing for a living, one for my birthday he gave me an autograph copy of a picture of him standing next to the truck I called Big Truck. This may sound silly, but in those days I looked at my grandfather and his truck, the same as some look at "Gravedigger" and " Bigfoot". My uncle has been a truck driver all his life and I have gone on trips with him as well (as an adult) just for the sake of adventure. I still to this day don't know why I haven't bothered getting my CDL. But then I read poems like this, and I remember, the sights may be amazing but the ride may be a bit bumpy. LOL

BRAVO!

Daniel
