because of the secrets in my heart
i secretly crucify myself
i send apologies to my Little Angel
compliments of the Wind
i pray that my babe's soul rests
because of the secrets in my heart
there is lightning in my head
but it only causes migraines and seizures
never could i use it to harm anyone
for everyone has their own secrets
because of the secrets in my heart
i've been judged and knocked down
judged by angry eyes daily
denied much needed health care
still i walk upright
because of the secrets in your heart
you secretly crucify yourself
but you seem to need to crucify me, too
you are tearing me apart daily
with your bitter judgements
because of the secrets in your heart
you secretly crucify him, too
you passed judgement on him
and then threw it in my face
i guess your lightning isn't as tame

Wow, the title and the subject, plus the category you picked all show a lot of resentment and bitterness. Very powerful with the emotion and I am so sorry you have to go through this crap. I can relate to a lot of this. Good write.
Especially this:

Turns out my marriage had an expiration date that I was not aware of. I know exactly what that feels like.
