Just when you think, that you may have it all
Is when you find out that, you’ve nothing but pall
All the beginnings, which are carved in your head
The endings at once, become the tattoos of dread
The flesh of two pleated, in single mortality
Now separate causing, an eminent fatality
As the co-joined have shared one copious heart
Imbued with life, the other’s impart
All of love’s whisperings, change to a drivel
As the hull of the shed lover, begins to shrivel
Once when together, profuse with such strength
Would sacrifice all, to each other no length
But once divided, in life’s surgical suite
These twins’ ruined love, will never replete
Disjointed at the birth, of their new life apart
Two bodies are unviable, with only one heart
