We bathed in the moist breath of the air.
The earth revolving and spinning us lightly.
Taken a back by such pureness and beauty
and the night whispered our names, danced with each leaf.
I wore only a ribbon of stardust
and the pale of the moons breathless glance.
Galaxy shimmered above us.
The waters shimmered beneath her wake.
There is that special glow, in life and when we speak of love.
Dusted with silence and the pale cool night air.
We spin in our shadows and dip in perfect and pure.
Gathering ourselves for a moment to start with simple magic once more.

Great write Shelby I haven't seen anything of yours in a little while. Of course the good poets these days get burried on the home page with poems about; how to be a flirt with a nice butt, or how to have a beach party and flash someone at the sand castle, then there are the poems written in text messaging lingo or highly exagerrated South London text messaging (whatever that is).
Anyway this is not one of those. This is an actual poem by an actual poet (hard to believe I found this on a poetry web site these days). Wonderfully worded, vivid and full of passion. What I have come to expect from you not what I have come to expect from YPDC.
Bravo!

Michelle this was too beautiful. The second stanza set me
on fire!! What an inspiring little piece of brilliance!
I love when you mingle romance and soft descriptions for us.
It's like a fine delicacy that can only be appreciated by the
most acute pallet. Bravo, dear poet!! The title is so perfect,
because your reader can't help but, glow after being immersed
inside your words. This was stunning, hun.
Take care out there ~

ethereal, yet earthy and mystical in all its rolling wash of the elements. Pockets of magic thrive in the beige dross of manufactured life, proven here, ladies and gentlemen...
