how love grows

Falling in love is a fearful time
even when its all on the dime
erasing past pain with no flames
wearing nothing but emotional honesty.
loving through it all
finding one strong enough to make the call
its not what they don't see
its what they want to know
its a feeling uncertain yet continuing to grow..
wrapped up in the silence of the heart
all emotions are soon to be known
for from the simple things a pure love has grown
its not the softness of your kiss
or my name resting lovingly on your lips
its knowing where you want to be
and knowing that you choose me
its love that is still pure
growing inside, to be so much more..
when love fades away and hearts break,
you'll still be my best friend
and what a basis is that for love to build..
there are no questions no fears
simply my heart and yours facing the years..

There are some beautiful sentiments in this BW. I love the lines,
"its not the softness of your kiss
or my name resting lovingly on your lips"
Damn .. that is precious. I love the feel of this too .. it's something
so delicate that I can't quite put it to words. But it is lovely. A gorgeous
piece for you return! Well done, poet!
