Humans are cruel, their intentions clear
They will rob you of all that you have; of all you hold dear
Stealing your dreams, hopes and desires
Against friend and foe their evil heart conspires
They will steal your very breath away if you let them
All the while masking themselves in kindness
They are quick to condemn
And always concealing the fact that they are soulless
I have no hope left
For my soul was crushed and my heart destroyed
This is not my opinion but fact
Proved by those who have lived
*** Just a note: this isn't pointed at anyone on here. This is just how I feel after being hurt too may times***
